We Love, Because He First Loved Us

Bro. Lee has been serving in ministry for 41 years. He and his wife, Cyndi serve as a team ministering to God’s people.  His mission statement is “Preach the Word and love the people”.  This has been his statement from the beginning of his ministry and God has blessed.  Lee is continuing his education by attending Logsdon School of Theology at Hardin-Simmons where he is working on his Master of Divinity.   Bro. Lee enjoys studying and preaching God’s Word and reaching people for the Lord while Cyndi enjoys playing the piano and using her creative talents wherever God places her.

Bro. Lee and his wife have three married children and five grandchildren.  They enjoy every moment spent with their grandchildren, but when Bro. Lee’s not spending time with them, he enjoys hunting, fishing and his hobby of taxidermy.

Wes Henson has served as Youth Pastor since June 2012. He graduated with a B.A. from Hardin-Simmons in ’06, and an M.Div. from Logsdon Seminary in ’09. The three best parts of Wes are his wife, Mica, and his two daughters, Anna and Charis. Wes enjoys running and playing the guitar (not at the same time), loves spending time with his family, and has a passion for leadership and helping teenagers grow closer to Christ.  His wife, Mica, leads our music ministry.

Jeanna has been serving as our administrative assistant since July of 2017.  She graduated from Bronte ISD and has lived here most of her life. She has many years of serving the public and loves working with people.  She has served as a Sunday School teacher, chairman of the building and grounds committee for many years, she has worked with youth and truly is willing to work wherever she is needed.  Her biggest joy in life has been seeing her children and grandchildren participate in sports, graduate from BHS and know they are Christians.  She really enjoys the outdoors and camping in their RV.
